WHAT TO DO HERE...
Each week you must reply to the blog for the week. It will be titled Week One, Week Two, and so on. At the end of the week(Sunday evening), I'll record who responded, so you won't be able to go back and make up your responses from previous weeks. Remember, the point is to begin to write as a habit...The best way to exercise this new habit is to overdo it. Don't just respond. Instead, respond, then wait, then respond to someone's response. Turn it into a dialogue. This is non-graded writing. But it still matters. Do too much. Be obnoxiously verbose!
This is a very beautiful picture. Great detail. it looks very adventurous, but could be romantic.
ReplyDeleteI see beauty from mother natures work....making it hard to withstand its brute backgrounnd....thus it lets noting escape..
ReplyDeleteSeeing this makes me think of the purpose of a lighthouse. How its light and foghorn are its main functions to lead sailors to safety. And the fog especially made me think of the foghorn.
ReplyDeleteThe setting of this picture is pretty.At the same time I would not want to be anywhere near the current of this water.Something about it makes you just take a step back and admire nature and the relaxing feel it offers sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThis look's very nice, but a dangerest place to be. It reminds me of the movie The Day After Tommorow because how the waves from the ocean come up in the movie.
ReplyDeleteI look at this and think of the significance of a lighthouse. It withstands the powerful sea and it is what leads the way in darkness and guides.
ReplyDeleteright away when i seen this picture, it reminded me of the movie 2012 when the waves of water are taking over Mt. Everst. This picture shows that there is a strong, powerful, and huge wave of water that is going to cover the light house. The light house looks very high which makes it more scary to be there.It also looks like there is an avalanche coming towards it.
ReplyDeleteI see power, strength. It is also somewhat mysterious to me. I want to say it looks like a lighthouse or some kind of watchtower, which seems a little out of place for me being that when you think of these buildings for safety and guidance, yet being over powered by what looks like a gigantic wave of water? But then it also looks like it could be somewhere very high on a cliff or mountain and fog surrounding it???
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at this picture I think cool and refreshing like the weather by the ocean. I also think of how powerful the waves of the ocean are.
ReplyDeleteWhen i see the picture, i think of how nature can be beautiful and so powerful, and how insignificant we humas are compare to nature.
ReplyDeletethat we humas are surronded by so much technology that we forget about the little things in the world like a nature that thing look so nice and decent.
When I see this picture I think of Boston, Massachusetts because they have a lot of lighthouses there. It also brings back memories of water rafting and kyaking.
ReplyDeleteWhen i see this picture i think how unique and beautiful.Now at the sametime can you imagine somebody climbing up there and taking a picture. Man i think that would be scary.

ReplyDeleteWhen I look at this picture it reminds me that I need to look around me and really appreciate the beauty of nature that is around me. Also, it reminds me of the time when I was in Parid and it was snowing and raining like crazy as we were walking down the streets of the city and looking at all of the artistic work done on the buildings and sculptures etc.
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful how nature takes its course in such a way. It really makes you 'look' at things differently than you normally would.
When I look at this picture it looks like a lighthouse on a mountain. Suddenly there comes a huge gust of unexpected snow that will wipe the lighthouse away.
ReplyDeletewhen i see this picture i see a really bad storm first off but thinking about it i see fear overcoming someone because a light house is suppose to guide you in a storm and if its that bad their you could only imaging what it is like further away
