Welcome to the blog for our English 100 course! This blog will have everything you need for this course: the syllabus, readings, handouts, assignment descriptions, and other wonderful resources.
WHAT TO DO HERE...
Each week you must reply to the blog for the week.It will be titled Week One, Week Two, and so on. At the end of the week(Sunday evening), I'll record who responded, so you won't be able to go back and make up your responses from previous weeks. Remember, the point is to begin to write as a habit...The best way to exercise this new habit is to overdo it. Don't just respond. Instead, respond, then wait, then respond to someone's response. Turn it into a dialogue. This is non-graded writing. But it still matters. Do too much. Be obnoxiously verbose!
I dont know what I would do if I live in this place. It will feel lonely, hot, and boring nothing much to do besides walking in dirt or ridding camals. It will be hard for me to get just to living in a place like this.
I would dehydrate. I think being here would not be ggod life. I do not want to imagine be here. I think I only be here by accident like if a plane fell.
This place looks horrible. there is no way i would be able to survive here. The picture looks very pretty, but also lonely and boring. there is no telling what these people have to eat seeing there aren't any stores. i just wouldn't be able to live there.
For me, it would suck! I hate the heat. That is one big reason i hate Bakersfield. Can't imagine living in a desert. The picture taken looks nice, though. It does make me feel thirsty, hot, and annoyed by looking at it and imagining it. My first reaction was recalled the episode of man vs wild where bear grylls cuts open a camel and puts himself inside...
Living there would probably turn me very dark-skinned due to excessive exposure to the sun. Totally different atmosphere from what the typical American is used to. I doubt I would have cell phone service there and would quickly start to lose my mind due to lack of technology. But I would eventually adapt to the environment.. maybe
Living at this place would be a very hot and sweaty experience.Im pretty sure it takes a long time to travel to any location with water as well.It would be slightly boring to ride camels all day and not have the necessities that we Americans have access to everyday. In the meantime, you would just have to get used to not having the luxuries of life everyday living there.
it would be hot and boring because the landscape is plane. i would always be thirsty and would always look for water. i would bored myself with nothing to do but ride camels and stare at the lonely desert. i wouldnt like the scorching hot day and the cold icy winds at night. nevertheless i would think im lost and feeling stranded.
this looks like a hot!!!!! place but people do manage to live there but the sunsets seem like they would be amazing but i bet you could get a really really good tan ;) lol but i also wouldnt want to be there after dark because desrets get really cold but i think that you can make a good time out of anywhere you go and i love to travle so it would be fun mati
it would be pretty exhausting living in a place like this. With sand every where and the sun beaming down the scenery is never changing and quite tiering. I mean you could probaly get a pretty sweet tan out there but as for everything else it would not be fun!
I think this place will be very interestin to live in.But personally I do not see my self living in this place. I can bearly take the heat in Bakersfield! I think it'll be too hot and boring. Since I get red with too much sun exposure I do not think I would last long...
this picture right here is a very colorful image. i personally wouldn't like to live in this place. A desert is a very hot, uncorfortable, and dangerous zone to be in. Imagine yourself with alimited water for your survival and no food at all, you wouldn't survive a week in that place..It would be cool to live this experience though.
if i would live in this place i would be hot and it think i would not make it for along time. i would not have any thing to do. i will never be able to imagine myself in a place like this.
